Counselling with Rosemary Chaney costs €75 for a 50-minute session in Gorey, Co. Wexford, or online, €85 in Phibsborough, Dublin 7, and €100 for a 60-minute couples session.
Therapy is an investment in yourself. Fees are the same each week so there are no surprises, and they are agreed with you at the outset.

How much does a session cost?
Individual sessions are €75 or €85 depending on where you meet. Couples sessions are €100 at either practice room. Gorey sessions take place at Bodhi, 14 Main Street, Gorey, Co. Wexford, Y25 E8N5. Dublin sessions take place at 24 O'Connell Avenue, off Berkeley Road, Phibsborough, Dublin 7, D07 XV57.

Card payments are taken securely on this website when you book. Your slot is held for 30 minutes and is confirmed as soon as the card payment goes through. You receive a confirmation email with your session details.

What can change the fee?
Only a late cancellation adds a charge. Everything else is set out below.
- If you cancel an in-person session with less than 48 hours' notice: The full session fee is charged, unless the circumstances are exceptional.
- If you cancel an online session with less than 24 hours' notice: The full session fee is charged, unless the circumstances are exceptional.
- If you come as a couple: The session is 60 minutes and costs €100 in Gorey or Dublin.
- If cost is a barrier for you: Mention it when you get in touch. A limited number of reduced-fee spaces may be available.
- If you are under 18: Rosemary cannot see you. Please look for a therapist trained in adolescent psychotherapy.
Payment & cancellation
- You can pay securely by card on this website when you book — or by card, bank transfer or cash at the end of your session.
- Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an in-person session, and at least 24 hours' notice for an online session. Sessions cancelled with less than the required notice are charged in full unless the circumstances are exceptional.

Is online counselling cheaper than in person?
Online counselling costs €75 for 50 minutes, the same as an in-person session in Gorey and €10 less than Dublin. Sessions run by secure video for clients anywhere in Ireland. Yes. Card payments are taken securely on this website when you book, and your session is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. If you would rather pay in person, card, bank transfer and cash are accepted at the end of your session in Gorey or Phibsborough, Dublin 7.
What is the cancellation policy?
You need to give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an in-person session, and at least 24 hours' notice for an online session. Sessions cancelled later are charged in full unless the circumstances are exceptional. To change a booking, contact Rosemary by phone on 087 458 0150 or by email.
Are reduced fees available?
Yes, a limited number of reduced-fee spaces may be available. Mention that cost is a barrier when you first get in touch, and Rosemary will tell you honestly whether a space is open. If none is free, your GP can tell you about free HSE talk therapy services in your area.
Is the fee the same every week?
Yes, the fee is the same each week, so there are no surprises. It is agreed with you at the outset, before regular sessions begin. The only extra charge is a full fee for a late cancellation, as set out in the cancellation policy. Ask Rosemary if you want to confirm anything before you book.
